Next Maritime is looking for a motivated Shipping Agency Operations to join its team in Alexandria. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build their experience in shipping agency and maritime operations within a professional and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Junior Shipping Agency Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day coordination of shipping agency activities, communicate with different stakeholders, and follow up on vessel and shipment-related operations to ensure smooth and timely execution.

• Coordinate and follow up on daily shipping agency operations.
• Communicate with shipping lines, vessels, clients, ports, and other relevant parties.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping and vessel-related documentation.
• Monitor vessel schedules, arrivals, departures, and operational updates.
• Follow up on Delivery Orders (D/O), Bills of Lading (B/L), and other shipping documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow up on pending issues and support the resolution of operational delays.
• Maintain accurate records and provide updates on ongoing operations.
• Support the team with other shipping agency and operational tasks as needed.

• 6 months –2 years of relevant experience in shipping agency or maritime operations.
• Previous experience with a shipping agency is a must.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Basic understanding of shipping documentation and maritime operations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
